Happy Kona
Laurie and I have used the Rover.com service to board our 80 pound pet for two sessions. The first was 7 days while we were escorting a grandson to a tournament in Florida. The second was for a 2 night trip to Cottonwood to explore and visit art galleries.
Here is how it works. You log on at the site and create a quick account. From there you choose a service (day care, boarding, etc.) and enter your address. The system will present qualified sitters in your area for you to contact.
For our last session we scheduled meet-n greets with three candidates. They were all good. The one we chose was a couple (Jackyn and William) who worked from home with two dogs and four kids. There was a dog park a half block from their house. Bingo, we chose that family. The family was great and we would recommend them easily.
Afterwards Rover sent us a $20 discount code that anyone can use at the site. If you would like the discount here is the link: $20-OFF
